Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Store Manager to join our Joondalup location. This leadership role is essential in supporting the Store Manager to enhance store performance, nurture a customer-focused culture, and build team capabilities, all aligned with Early Settler's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to meet sales objectives through effective product selling
• Engage with customers to realize their home styling visions by providing detailed styling advice, upselling, and cross-selling based on customer needs
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the retail sales team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Manage daily store operations including staff scheduling, financial oversight, administrative duties, recruitment, and onboarding
• Contribute to developing and applying strategies aimed at maximizing sales and customer service performance

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in retail sales with a history of meeting or exceeding targets
• Strong commercial insight with a results-oriented approach to turning strategies into achievements
• Proven ability to coach and inspire teams for superior customer service delivery
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and a resourceful, can-do attitude
• Capacity to balance customer care, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities
• An authentic interest in home styling, furniture, or creating inviting living spaces considered an advantage

• Physical capability to perform regular manual handling duties such as lifting and moving various-sized products safely
