Role Overview

The Store Manager will oversee the complete store functioning, aiming to maximize sales, enhance customer satisfaction, lead and develop the team, and ensure smooth daily operations. This role serves as a critical bridge turning corporate strategies into actionable results at the store level.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the store toward meeting sales targets, improving conversion rates, and achieving high customer satisfaction.
• Enhance the Net Promoter Score by delivering excellent service and effectively handling customer queries and complaints.
• Forge strong and lasting customer relationships.
• Define sales objectives, distribute targets, and encourage the team to achieve these goals.
• Lead, inspire, and coach team members; support recruitment and selection of promising talent.
• Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to foster team growth.
• Identify skill gaps and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to implement training programs.
• Analyze reasons for staff turnover and implement strategies to improve retention.
• Ensure compliance with retail standard operating procedures to guarantee efficient store operations.
• Manage cash handling and reconciliation, monitor inventory, and conduct regular stock audits.
• Oversee proper use of POS systems and ensure transactions are processed correctly.
• Coordinate operational activities to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Ensure eye check-ups follow prescribed SOPs and quality benchmarks.
• Create staff schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain the store’s cleanliness, upkeep, and equipment maintenance to company standards.
• Protect store assets by preventing stock losses or damages.
• Keep the team informed about business performance, new initiatives, and key updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Undergraduate candidates require at least 6 years of work experience, including 2 years in leadership of a team with at least 2 members.
• Graduates should have a minimum of 4 years total experience with 2 years of team leadership managing at least 2 team members.
• Graduates who have prior experience as Store Managers should have at least 2 years of total experience including 1 year specifically in store management with a team of minimum 2.
