Position Overview

At Lenskart, we offer a unique opportunity to work alongside the founding team on critical challenges that fall outside traditional organizational boundaries. As a Founders' Office Fellow, you won't be confined to a specific department but will instead undertake a succession of impactful projects, each with its own leadership, goals, and deadlines. This role is designed to cultivate future leaders who will eventually manage significant business units, regions, markets, or functions based on their demonstrated impact.

Current Strategic Challenges

• Vision for 78 crore Indians: Reach the millions who need vision correction but remain underserved by discovering them and devising effective outreach strategies.
• Expansion to 10,000 stores in India: Plan where and how to open approximately 7,000 new stores in India to complement the existing 3,400 globally, ensuring each maintains a unique identity.
• Scaling the Hyderabad eyewear factory: Optimize operations at the factory capable of producing up to 200,000 prescription pairs daily.
• Develop intelligent eye tests: Innovate reliable eye testing methods accessible in both metropolitan and small town environments.
• Global Indian brand presence: Enhance Lenskart’s brand image internationally, where it already operates in Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
• Unidentified challenges: Identify and propose solutions for critical problems that have not yet been recognized.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated exceptional achievements such as leading teams, founding companies, producing acclaimed work, earning prestigious ranks or awards, or excelling academically at reputed institutions.
• Typically between 3 and 10 years of professional experience, though exceptional younger candidates may also apply.
• Recognized as a reliable problem solver within their organizations, able to respond effectively to urgent situations.
• Adaptable across diverse environments — comfortable working with data, on operational floors, and in manufacturing settings within short timeframes.
• Strong analytical thinker who writes clearly, embraces data-driven decisions, and is open to changing viewpoints based on evidence.
