As an Assistant Store Leader, you will be part of a management team impacting both your store and local community daily. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Leader by leading and mentoring store employees to provide outstanding customer service.
- Help maintain employee retention by recruiting qualified candidates, developing leaders, and fostering a motivational work environment.
- Assist in executing merchandising and marketing initiatives effectively.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote customer loyalty programs.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and sanitation standards while keeping inventory well-stocked.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or retail management experience is essential.
- Capability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
- High School diploma or GED preferred; candidates with at least one year of retail management experience may qualify without a diploma.
- A valid driver's license with maintained automotive liability insurance is required.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
