Job Overview

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager within our hotel dining outlet, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and contributing to financial success. Your efforts will help create warm, memorable moments for our guests, embodying the spirit of exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and managing the restaurant to maintain exemplary guest services and profitability.
• Recruit, train, supervise, counsel, and evaluate restaurant staff for efficient operations; organize work schedules and assignments.
• Ensure strict compliance with sanitation and safety standards for both guests and staff; maintain all equipment in working order.
• Conduct regular visual inspections and take corrective actions to keep the restaurant's facilities attractive and well-maintained; manage work orders to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction continuously, guaranteeing food is consistently appealing and prepared per guest expectations; personally oversee kitchen and service areas to uphold standards.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback, address complaints promptly, and ensure their dining experience is excellent.
• Manage inventory by forecasting, documenting usage, and ensuring adequate stocks of linen, glassware, silverware, chinaware, condiments, and other essentials.
• Oversee dining and service area setup to ensure readiness for service.
• Support restaurant marketing initiatives including menu development, competitor analysis, food trend reporting, and assisting with specials creation.
• Ensure all restaurant operations comply with company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
