Role Overview
Join CBRE Asia Pacific as an Assistant Property Manager in Auckland, New Zealand. This full-time position supports the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio, offering exposure to financial operations and business administration within a high-performing team. This opportunity suits candidates with some early experience in property management who are adept at balancing tenant relations, financial tasks, and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily management activities for commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Support lease administration including renewals and rent reviews, while handling tenancy management.
- Prepare financial documents such as budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Conduct monthly reviews of revenue forecasts, profit and loss statements, cost and revenue allocation, passthrough charges, and follow-up on anomalies and debts.
- Manage arrears, invoicing, and other property-related financial transactions accurately.
- Keep tenancy schedules, property records, and compliance documents up to date.
- Organize meetings, reports, and communication among stakeholders.
- Contribute to the efficient functioning of the wider Property Management team.
Candidate Profile
- At least 12 months experience in commercial property management, property administration, or a similar field.
- Strong financial acumen coupled with solid administrative skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capacity to handle multiple deadlines.
- Proactive, positive mindset with effective communication and relationship-building talents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
- Property or real estate qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
