About the Role
The Assistant Department Manager position offers an exciting entry point into a rewarding career with Woolworths Group. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an engaging, inclusive team culture where individuals can express themselves while contributing to consistently positive shopping experiences.
- Support and develop your leadership skills in what could be your first leadership position in retail.
- Collaborate closely with the department and store teams to operate smoothly and deliver on customer expectations.
- Ensure team and customer safety by following and promoting correct safety procedures within the store.
- Model customer service excellence through Everyday ACTs — Acknowledge, Care, and Thank — to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to a cooperative environment to achieve shared goals effectively.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to expand your knowledge of department operations.
