Role Overview
The position of Assistant Fresh Manager is an entry-level leadership role within Woolworths Group's store operations, focusing on managing and supporting daily department functions to ensure excellent customer experiences and teamwork. This role is a stepping stone in the retail leadership career path, supported by the Store Leadership Pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an inclusive, engaging team atmosphere where individuals can express themselves while ensuring consistently positive shopping experiences for customers.
- Assist and develop foundational leadership skills and department management capabilities to support the team effectively.
- Work closely with the wider store team to deliver seamless store operations and uphold safety standards through proper procedural adherence.
- Support and role model customer engagement through everyday acknowledgments, care, and gratitude.
- Collaborate with peers to achieve shared goals and foster a cooperative workplace culture.
