Assistant Manager

About the Role

Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager where you will help oversee the daily operations of one of our stores. This position involves leading hiring efforts, managing staff, and directing activities to meet financial objectives and deliver an outstanding guest experience. Candidates will receive paid leadership training lasting three or more weeks to prepare for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and operation of a single restaurant location.
• Recruit, supervise, and guide team members to meet performance goals.
• Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Drive the financial performance to achieve business targets.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of the current residence if necessary.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, which may include opening and closing times, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in Food Safety through Serve Safe.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often hot and noisy kitchen environment.
• Capability to stand for extended periods (up to four hours) and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Skill in handling kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives.
