Role Overview

The Assistant Manager will help oversee daily operations at a single Panda Express location, ensuring superior guest service and successful achievement of financial targets. This role involves recruiting, leading, and guiding team members. A comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks is provided to prepare candidates for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all facets of store operations to meet business objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Flexibility to transfer within a 50-mile radius from home.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
  • Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe certified).

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Assistant Managers should be able to endure prolonged standing in hot, steamy environments typical of kitchen areas, operate kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives safely and efficiently, and lift up to 50 pounds. The position requires good verbal communication skills, adaptability to a fast-paced and sometimes noisy workplace, and capability to handle difficult situations effectively.
