About the Role

As a Cook at Panda Restaurant Group, you serve as a vital member and leader in our kitchen team, passionately preparing food, delivering heartfelt service, and contributing to a lively dining atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and inviting environment for guests.
  • Prepare all menu items strictly following company recipes and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and training assistance to kitchen team members.
  • Complete all tasks associated with Back of House operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completion of some high school education.
  • Prefer candidates with some experience in operations within a food service setting.
  • Obtain and maintain any required local or municipal certifications, including Food Handler certification, at personal expense.

Work Environment and Requirements

Working conditions include exposure to high heat and steam, limited workspace requiring prolonged standing, and handling hot and cold foods with kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives. Employees should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours continuously, and reaching across 36-inch countertops. Fast-paced workflow, high noise levels, and limited storage space are typical. Effective communication skills, adaptability, and conflict management abilities are essential.
