Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing store operations, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding guest service. You will play a vital role in making your store successful through leadership. A comprehensive store leadership training program lasting at least three weeks will be provided to prepare you for this role.

Prerequisites and Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Must be willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius if necessary
• Ability to work flexible schedules including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
• Food safety certification: Serve Safe certified

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The role involves working in hot kitchen areas with steam and food vapors, often requiring standing for extended periods and handling hot and cold foods. Use of kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives and other equipment is required, alongside the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. and reach counters approximately 36 inches high. The kitchen environment can be fast-paced, noisy, and has limited storage, requiring adaptability, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle stressful or difficult situations.

Compensation Details

The pay range for this position is $23 to $26 per hour. Pay within this range depends on location, experience, and other factors. Bonus programs are discretionary and subject to change without notice.
