Key Responsibilities

In the position of Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of a single store. Your duties include recruiting, directing, and managing team members to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding customer experiences. You'll play a vital role in driving the store’s success. To help you thrive, a store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks will be provided.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your current residence
• Availability to work flexible hours, including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demand
• Food Safety certification (Serve Safe)

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

While working, expect to encounter warm and steamy conditions from food service areas. The workspace is compact and employees typically remain standing for prolonged periods. Tasks include preparing hot and cold foods using kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives and other specialized equipment, requiring speed and accuracy. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch counters to serve guests. The kitchen can be noisy with limited storage and high shelving. Employees also need strong verbal communication skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and the ability to handle challenging situations.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, varying by location and experience. Bonus eligibility is discretionary, and the company reserves the right to alter or discontinue bonus programs at any time without prior notice.
