About the Role

This entry-level management position supports daily operations in housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry departments. The role involves working alongside staff to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, conducting inspections, enforcing corrective measures, and helping sustain guest and employee satisfaction within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations related to housekeeping operations.
• Manage lost and found procedures efficiently.
• Organize cleaning assignments based on immediate room statuses and upcoming check-outs.
• Conduct inventory checks to ensure sufficient supplies are available.
• Communicate guest room statuses promptly to the Front Desk team.
• Collaborate with Engineering for maintenance needs in guest rooms.
• Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Ensure all employees have necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Supervise inspections of all guest rooms and public areas effectively.
• Manage linen and guest supplies inventory and assist in ordering provisions as necessary.
• Oversee Housekeeping operations and related areas during absences of senior management.
• Critically observe employee service behaviors and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.
• Address guest concerns and complaints, seeking supervisory support when needed.
• Review guest feedback and satisfaction reports with employees to promote continuous improvement.
• Exemplify outstanding guest relations and set positive service standards.

Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in housekeeping or a related field, or
• A two-year degree from an accredited institution in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a similar discipline with no prior work experience required.
