Job Purpose

The role of Assistant Manager - Security Services involves the execution and oversight of security functions in alignment with the broader security strategy. Responsibilities include assisting with risk assessments, executing mitigation tactics, conducting patrols, managing access and visitor controls, and safeguarding business assets to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily security operations to ensure alignment with strategic business and site objectives, providing pertinent operational insights.
  • Assist in the application of security operating models and standard operating procedures, promoting effective and consistent execution.
  • Engage in routine patrols and utilize CCTV surveillance to monitor premises, maintain documentation, and uphold high security vigilance.
  • Help manage Access Control operations, ensuring compliance with procedures and promptly reporting deviations to leadership.
  • Oversee visitor access management, including secure issuance and control of access cards, to facilitate safe entry and exit.
  • Support monitoring of traffic and cargo security, verifying vehicle and shipment authorizations using technologies such as GPS and RFID tagging.
  • Act as a responsive team member during emergencies and crisis events, following established response plans and managing exceptions.
  • Stay informed on digital and artificial intelligence advancements to continually improve security effectiveness and competitiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Internal: Security officers, security personnel, and zonal teams.
  • External: Law enforcement agencies and security vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a closely related discipline.
  • At least three years of professional experience in security operations focusing on access control, patrol management, and emergency response.
