Job Overview

The Assistant Manager - Telesales plays a crucial role in steering sales operations to meet business targets, while maximizing customer and employee satisfaction. This position oversees a team, manages client relationships, and enhances sales processes within a dynamic environment.

Primary Duties

• Efficiently manage operations to ensure timely Service Level Agreement (SLA) fulfillment with high satisfaction among employees and customers.
• Drive B2C sales including insurance products such as Mutual Funds and ULIP plans.
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships to facilitate engagement and business growth.
• Organize workforce resources, define objectives, and formulate strategies to boost sales effectiveness.
• Track and document team attendance, productivity, and schedules.
• Lead regular client meetings to align expectations and report progress.
• Address and resolve audit-related concerns promptly.
• Identify areas for process enhancements and implement improvements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team leaders to improve team management.
• Resolve internal customer queries efficiently and act as the liaison for business-related issues.
• Undertake special projects aligned with organizational needs.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) Responsibilities

• Operate systems under Function Heads’ guidance and provide support to authorized users.
• Offer technical consulting to help align information systems with business goals.
• Safeguard sensitive information and take responsibility for protecting information assets.
• Execute delegated tasks as assigned by Function Heads.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Leadership experience including conducting meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching to meet targets.
• Team development capabilities involving recruitment, mentoring, and nurturing employee growth.
• Proven telesales success, ideally within Health, Motor, or Life Insurance sectors.
• Ability to monitor, measure, and enhance employee performance with effective coaching.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address performance issues.
• Capacity to work effectively under sales pressure and maintain a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in external and management reporting.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
