Role Overview

The Nudgee Beach Hotel is seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join its busy hospitality team in Brisbane's northern region. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support and elevate the hotel's teams to deliver exceptional service across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with regular patrons to cultivate a welcoming community atmosphere.
• Assist the Publican in ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently, and maintains a lively ambiance.
• Gain insight into Publican responsibilities while leading and mentoring a skilled hospitality team.
• Proactively resolve issues to prevent disruptions and maintain smooth service flow.
• Consistently bring enthusiasm, excellent service, and a positive attitude to each shift.

Physical Requirements

• This role involves physical tasks such as lifting and handling stock, kegs, and deliveries; candidates must be capable of performing these duties safely and effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming operations with supervisory exposure is preferred.
• Aspired to advance by learning from exemplary management and taking on increased leadership responsibilities.
• Self-confidence, pride in work, and excellent interpersonal skills to represent the pub in the Publican's absence.
• Possession of current certifications including RSA/RSG, RMLV, and an Approved Managers Licence as mandated by Queensland state regulations.
