About the Role
Panda Express, a leading family-owned American Chinese restaurant group with nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, is seeking experienced leaders to join their store management team in Redmond, OR. Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operation of a single store, including hiring, managing, and guiding associates to meet financial targets and provide excellent guest service. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving store success, backed by a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma is mandatory.
- Flexibility to transfer to any store within a 50-mile radius from your residence.
- Availability to work a variable schedule encompassing opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
- Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe) is required.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
The role demands standing for extended periods, preparation of hot and cold foods, use of kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The work environment includes exposure to heat, steam, noise, and limited storage space. Effective communication, adaptability to dynamic priorities, and conflict management skills are essential.
