About the Role
Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager and become a key leader in managing daily store operations. You will oversee hiring, directing staff, and meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding customer experiences. To support your success, Panda offers an extensive paid leadership training program lasting three or more weeks, along with mentorship from the Panda community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a single restaurant location's day-to-day operations.
- Recruit, manage, and motivate associates to achieve store financial goals.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
- Complete store leadership training prior to taking on management duties.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma mandatory.
- Flexibility to relocate to any store within 50 miles from your residence.
- Willingness to work varied shifts including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Food safety certification (Serve Safe) required.
Work Environment
Expect to work in a fast-paced kitchen with frequent exposure to heat and noise. Tasks involve preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen knives and equipment safely, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across counters. Effective communication and the ability to manage changing priorities and conflict are essential.
