About the Role

Key Duties
The Assistant Manager will support the daily running of a single Panda Express store. Responsibilities include recruiting, supervising, and guiding team members to meet financial targets and to provide outstanding customer service. The role demands commitment to making the store successful, supported by a leadership training program lasting three weeks or longer to equip you for the challenges ahead.

Candidate Requirements
- A minimum education of a high school diploma is mandatory
- Willingness to relocate within 50 miles of current residence if necessary
- Availability for a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Food Safety certification (Serve Safe)
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work area is often hot and busy with steam and food vapors, requiring the ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives safely and efficiently. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing up to four hours, and reaching across counters at 36 inches. The environment is typically loud, with limited storage and elevated shelving.

Compensation Details
