About the Role
Panda Express, a leader in the Asian dining industry with nearly 2,800 global locations, is seeking skilled leaders to join its store management team in Alexandria, VA. Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager supports the operation of a single restaurant location, overseeing hiring, managing, and directing staff to meet financial targets and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This critical role requires making the store a success through effective leadership. New hires will receive more than three weeks of hands-on leadership training to equip them for success.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma
- Ability to relocate to a store within 50 miles of residence
- Flexible availability including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- Food safety certification: Serve Safe certified
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Work involves standing for extended periods, handling hot and cold food preparation, working in hot and noisy kitchen environments, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must use kitchen knives and equipment safely and be capable of effective verbal communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and managing conflicts efficiently.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $23 to $26 per hour, determined by location and experience. Bonus opportunities exist but are not guaranteed and may be modified or revoked without prior notice.
