Job description

Overview

Join us in shaping the future workforce at Changi Airport as airport operations evolve through digital transformation, automation, and data-driven processes. We seek a passionate capability development expert dedicated to fostering workforce agility and skill enhancement in a rapidly advancing environment. This role involves spearheading learning initiatives across the Airport Management Cluster, focusing on skills such as systems thinking, AI, automation, and digital operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop capabilities in future airport management by creating and delivering educational programmes that enhance problem-solving, digital literacy, systems thinking, and innovation within the cluster.
  • Facilitate various participative events including workshops, hackathons, simulations, and action-learning sessions to support organizational transformation and skills development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify skill requirements and bridge existing capability gaps.
  • Drive technology adoption by supporting initiatives in AI, automation, digital tools, and data-informed decision-making; empower teams to prototype solutions using low-code platforms, generative AI, analytical dashboards, and other tools.
  • Convert emerging technological trends into practical training interventions emphasizing resilience, contingency planning, and manual fallback procedures where automation may fail.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to promote learning and the integration of new operational workflows.
  • Oversee all aspects of learning and development programmes including needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation within the cluster.
  • Coordinate with trainers, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure impactful learning experiences.
  • Manage governance, budgets, and detailed reporting related to learning initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Capability Development, Organizational Development, Operations Transformation, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated involvement in transformation projects, digital capability building, or technology adoption.
  • Exhibit strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and programme management.
  • Solid knowledge of advanced technologies including AI, automation, data analytics, and digital tools, and ability to educate non-technical personnel in these domains.
  • Show a curious, proactive mindset with a passion for nurturing talent and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking, Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience leading innovation-driven activities such as hackathons or transformation programmes.
  • Background in aviation or similarly complex, operations-focused environments.
