Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Airside Operations Planning

Role Overview

Join the Airside Operations Planning team at one of the world’s busiest airports and contribute critically to the safe and efficient functioning of Changi Airport's runways and taxiways. This position involves spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing airside safety, optimizing operational efficiency, and increasing airport capacity by collaborating with diverse aviation stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, evaluate, and update policies, operating concepts, and procedures to facilitate safe and efficient airfield operations.
• Lead safety initiatives targeting runway protection, foreign object debris (FOD) control, and wildlife hazard mitigation.
• Coordinate with airlines, air traffic control, ground handlers, licensed drivers, and other key parties to uphold exemplary airside safety standards.
• Assess runway safety recommendations and oversee the adoption of appropriate measures within Changi Airport.
• Collaborate closely with the operations and engineering teams to ensure strict adherence to operational and safety mandates for the airfield.
• Conduct data analysis to identify ways to bolster airfield capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall resilience.
• Provide operational expertise and strategic input for major airfield development initiatives.
• Investigate, pilot, and implement innovative technologies geared towards improving detection and prevention of runway incursions, FOD, and wildlife risks, shaping future airport operations.

Qualifications and Desired Attributes

• Experience or knowledge of airside operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
