Responsibilities

• Develop automation tests that deliver timely, actionable, and independent insights on operational processes.
• Collaborate with process owners across Front-Line Units and Control Functions to understand workflows, data, risks, and controls.
• Assess processes spanning multiple products, regulations, and enterprise tasks, facilitating process improvements and early error detection.
• Clearly document and articulate methodologies for diverse stakeholders including auditors and regulators.
• Transform test requirements into automated scripts using Python and SQL.
• Automate the generation of test documentation directly from code.
• Design, develop, implement testing models and maintain technical documentation.
• Create and update data retrieval and manipulation scripts as required.
• Secure adequate and relevant testing data in alignment with test designs.
• Independently gather requirements for test scripting and data, collaborating with data partners.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs for modeling and testing.
• Conduct debugging and code reviews ensuring quality standards.
• Obtain stakeholder approval through validation sessions ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain adherence to service level agreements covering productivity, turnaround time, and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations related to business outcomes.
• Lead projects independently to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, B.Tech, B.E., or MCA.
• Proficient in Python and SQL programming.
• Understanding of software engineering principles including modular coding, software lifecycle, unit and regression testing.
• Strong grasp of software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of data warehouse and data mining concepts; solid understanding of SQL syntax.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Trino, and distributed computing paradigms.
• Well-versed in object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data across various volumes.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to understand process interrelationships and business context.
• Strong ownership mindset with capability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Good judgment in communication and strong questioning to enhance understanding.
• Adaptability to shift timings on short notice and ability to work across teams and geographic borders.
• Preferred: Experience in Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance domains and a strong automation aptitude.

Working Hours and Location

The working shifts are from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The job is based in Hyderabad or Gandhinagar.
