Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will support all aspects of operating a single restaurant location. Duties include recruiting, managing, and guiding team members to meet financial targets while ensuring excellent guest service. A comprehensive store leadership training program lasting at least three weeks will be provided to prepare you adequately for your role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of current residence
• Availability for a flexible work schedule encompassing opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business demand
• ServSafe certification in Food Safety

Work Environment and Physical Demands (ADA Statement)

Employees will often work in hot, steamy conditions near steam tables and food vapors, standing for extended periods. Tasks involve preparing hot and cold food items, utilizing kitchen tools such as Chinese chef knives, and working efficiently without compromising accuracy. Staff must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing up to four hours, and reaching across counters approximately 36 inches high. The kitchen environment includes high noise levels, limited storage, and elevated shelving. Effective communication, adaptability in a fast-paced atmosphere, and strong conflict management skills are essential.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate ranges from $28 to $31, influenced by factors such as location and experience. While bonuses are available, they are not guaranteed and may be modified or withdrawn at Panda's discretion.
