Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all safety operations at the Dahej manufacturing location.
• Conduct daily inspections across the plant to identify safety deficiencies, reporting findings to department heads.
• Document and investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, with implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Supervise the work permit system to ensure timely processing and closure.
• Regularly test and inspect fire detection systems to maintain optimal functioning.
• Carry out audits and inspections of plant equipment, machinery, storage tanks, and warehouses.
• Implement and enforce ISO standards and SOPs aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Organize scheduled mock drills to satisfy legal and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver safety-related training programs for employees and contract workers.
• Guarantee appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) usage based on job requirements.
• Ensure adherence to legal standards set by regulatory bodies including DISH, PESO, Collector NOC, and CGWA.
• Coordinate external first aid training sessions for staff.
• Manage safe storage and handling of hazardous substances, safeguarding employee welfare.
• Compile and submit monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Experience in managing a team size of 3 to 5 individuals.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, preferably a B.Sc in any specialization.
