Assistant Manager

About the Role

We invite passionate leaders to join Panda Express as Assistant Managers, entrusted with supporting store operations to achieve profitability and outstanding customer service. You will lead hiring, direct associates, and uphold high standards for guest satisfaction. Preparation includes a comprehensive paid leadership training program spanning at least three weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in running daily store activities ensuring operational efficiency.
• Manage and guide associates toward meeting financial targets.
• Direct recruitment and team management efforts to build a strong workforce.
• Ensure excellent guest experiences at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your residence as needed.
• Availability for variable shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays per business scheduling demands.
• Food safety certification, specifically Serve Safe, is required.

Working Conditions & ADA Notice

The environment includes hot, steamy kitchen areas with high noise levels and spatial constraints. The role demands standing for extended periods (up to four hours), handling kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and reaching across counters about 36 inches high. Adept verbal communication, adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced setting, and strong conflict management skills are essential.
