Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Engineer (AME) specialized in lithography equipment to maintain reliability, availability, and optimal functionality of advanced production machinery. The role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, coordinating with multiple teams to enhance equipment performance, and supporting technical upgrades and installations. Documentation and compliance with safety and environmental protocols are also key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective maintenance of specialized lithography production equipment to maximize operational uptime.
- Develop and implement schedules for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Lead fault diagnosis and root cause analyses for any equipment malfunctions or recurrent technical problems.
- Monitor and optimize machinery performance parameters and maintenance efficiency metrics.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to improve equipment reliability and output.
- Analyze maintenance data, promoting continuous process and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, installations, and commissioning efforts.
- Create and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists, and detailed technical documentation.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards during maintenance processes.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors to facilitate maintenance activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance within manufacturing sectors such as semiconductors, automation, or industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience maintaining Dainippon Screen Equipment (models DNS200W, DNS90B, DNS60A, 80A), Canon Exposure Equipment (2500 and 3000 Series including IW, I4, I5, DUV, and Scanner variants), and ASML 60/100/250 Series machines.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance approaches.
- Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation system faults.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial sensors, motors, drivers, and control systems.
- Experienced in root cause analysis techniques and continuous improvement methods such as Lean, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals accurately.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willing to undertake 12-hour shifts, standby duties, and overtime as necessary.
