Role Summary

The Assistant Housing Manager is responsible for managing the accommodations provided to hotel staff, ensuring these facilities are safe, comfortable, well-maintained, and meet employee needs. This position entails coordinating housing assignments, resolving residents' issues, and fostering a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of housing including resident check-ins and check-outs, maintenance coordination, and cleanliness oversight.
  • Assign housing fairly and optimize the use of all available accommodations.
  • Keep precise records of occupancy and related documents.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to uphold accommodation quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Arrange prompt repairs for issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep.
  • Serve as the main contact for residents, resolving their concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Encourage a supportive and cooperative community atmosphere among residents.
  • Initiate programs to enhance resident satisfaction and living conditions.
  • Ensure all housing complies with health and safety codes and conduct regular safety inspections to mitigate hazards.
  • Educate residents on safety guidelines and emergency procedures, enforcing adherence to safety protocols.
  • Stay informed of housing regulations and industry best practices.
  • Maintain transparent communication between residents and the People & Culture team, reporting major issues and trends.
  • Document resident complaints, maintenance needs, and resolution steps thoroughly.
