Overview

Role Importance and Summary
This role supports the Front Store Manager (FSM) by overseeing human, physical, and financial resources. The goal is to meet store objectives through improving the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
Key Duties and Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain high store standards that enhance customer experience, increase foot traffic, and contribute to profitability.
- Collaborate with management to ensure consistent enforcement of store standards, including organization of the backroom.
- Assist the FSM with labor scheduling and utilize Workforce Management tools to boost labor efficiency.
- Ensure sufficient staffing to run the store effectively at all times.
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to Human Resources policies and standards.
- Support hiring processes for all departments, except Pharmacy, working alongside the FSM.
- Manage wage administration within prescribed guidelines.
- Promote and uphold the company’s culture, motivate staff by exemplifying core values, and foster employee engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong planning abilities and decision-making skills.
- Inventory management preparation and control of expenses through sound judgment.
- Leadership qualities with ongoing mentorship and staff development responsibilities.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to respond swiftly to evolving tasks.
- Solid organizational capabilities.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in retail management.
- Proven track record of driving business goals, leading by example, and supporting corporate initiatives.
- Effective collaboration within management teams.
- Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Business insight and financial understanding.
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
