Position Overview
Join Dalata Hotel Group as the Assistant Front Office Manager at Clayton Burlington Road, where you'll receive training through Dalata Academy's programs that build essential skills and allow mentorship from senior team members. Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, genuine, and courteous welcome to all guests upon arrival and throughout their stay alongside departmental staff.
- Support effective management of front office daily operations.
- Work with the management team to foster high team morale consistently.
- Oversee front office cash handling, including float and till procedures, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Maintain adequate front desk staffing, anticipating the need for additional support during peak times.
- Educate front office staff on sales and promotional strategies and actively endorse all hotel outlets.
- Coordinate with the Accommodation Manager or Supervisor regarding room status updates, VIP guests, and room allocations.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar front office management role.
- Strong organizational capabilities with aptitude in delegating and supervising tasks.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor for interactions with guests and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
