About the Role

This Assistant Department Manager position offers a launchpad into a rewarding career with Woolworths Group. As a key member of the team, you will support daily activities within the department, work collaboratively across the store, and contribute to both excellent customer experience and a positive workplace environment. This role is designed as a stepping stone, combining hands-on operational responsibilities with leadership development opportunities through the Store Leadership Pathway.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety for both customers and team members by ensuring adherence to proper store procedures.
  • Assist in learning and managing department operations to support everyday functions effectively.

Working Schedule

The standard roster follows a four-day work week providing flexibility to balance personal and professional commitments. Example schedule: Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
