Job description

Job Overview

The Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of finished goods and purchased items. This role requires managing inventory records, coordinating transport logistics, and supervising operational staff such as forklift drivers, checkers, and laborers to ensure smooth warehouse operations aligned with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept and issue finished and imported products as per production schedules and shipping orders, accurately logging all transactions into the system.
  • Apply established procedures for receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products while adhering strictly to safety protocols.
  • Maintain secure and well-organized storerooms and warehouse facilities to prevent loss or damage and maximize space utilization.
  • Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of filters and gift items based on issued instructions and orders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to Petrolube Express stations within seven days from the order date.
  • Organize storage layouts to facilitate efficient transportation, handling, shipment, and inventory counting.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to forklift operators, checkers, and laborers to maintain high performance standards.
  • Prepare and ship customer orders according to shipping guidelines and instructions.
  • Document damaged product reports and coordinate repacking or reprocessing efforts with Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor, Production, and Laboratory teams.
  • Address any discrepancies in stock levels to ensure physical quantities match system records at all times.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports for finished goods.
  • Maintain all shipping documentation and confirm that all related transactions are properly recorded and filed.
  • Submit Delivery Notes acknowledged by customers to the Sales Department following the service level agreement.
  • Monitor inventory shelf life and coordinate revalidation processes with relevant supervisors and laboratory staff.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment and surrounding areas.
  • Manage employee monthly timesheets and overtime reports, including justification details.
  • Carry out any additional duties relevant to the position as assigned.
