Key Role Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at enhancing employee productivity and operational workflows across the organisation.
  • Manage and guide a projects team, implementing disciplined delivery practices, governance structures, change management, and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align priorities and mitigate risks ensuring value delivery at the portfolio level.

Programme Strategy, Discovery & Planning

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive integrated programme roadmap aligned with employee productivity goals, defining outcomes and success criteria.
  • Drive systematic identification of new productivity opportunities, transforming them into prioritized workstreams.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on project sequencing, trade-offs, feasibility, and risks.

Governance, Risk & Assurance

  • Implement robust governance frameworks to facilitate timely decision-making, accountability, and escalation.
  • Ensure adherence to public sector policies, financial regulations, audits, data protection, and security guidelines in collaboration with relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate programme assurance activities to confirm operational readiness and compliance with enterprise standards.

Delivery Oversight & Portfolio Controls

  • Supervise portfolio delivery by managing dependencies, risks, and overall project health.
  • Maintain integrated oversight of scope, timelines, budgets, and benefits, proactively addressing deviations.
  • Establish tracking and reporting systems for milestones, risks, and outcomes at the programme level.

Change, Adoption & Capability Development

  • Lead strategies for change adoption to embed new tools and working methods into daily operations.
  • Identify skill gaps and organize enablement initiatives to boost digital literacy and productivity organisation-wide.

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

  • Align and engage senior leaders, business units, product owners, and delivery partners on goals, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide transparent programme updates including risks and trade-offs to support informed decision-making.

Budget & Resource Oversight

  • Manage programme budgets and resource allocation with a strong emphasis on financial discipline and value for money.
  • Assist in budget preparation and programme proposals by clearly articulating expected outcomes, costs, and risks.

People Leadership

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance appraisals, and professional development of the projects team.
  • Define clear expectations, working methods, and role clarity to ensure consistent programme management practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a degree in Business, Public Policy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hold over six years of relevant experience in programme management, large-scale project delivery, organizational change, or transformation efforts.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership capabilities in managing teams including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in governance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement within complex environments.
