Role Overview
The Digital Society Product Team focuses on creating software solutions that help government entities better serve Singaporeans. Utilizing an agile framework, the team develops user-centered web and mobile applications while adopting industry best practices and tools. The role includes opportunities to engage in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an agile development team to build high-quality web and mobile software applications, spanning frontend and backend components.
- Implement established software engineering methodologies, such as pair programming, code reviews, and test-driven development.
- Take leadership in system design discussions, set development best practices, and mentor junior engineers as experience grows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in modern web and application development using TypeScript.
- Backend development skills with TypeScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks React.js and React Native.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and related services.
- Capability in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred minimum of two years of professional experience related to these technologies.
