Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Steward in overseeing all stewarding operations.
- Supervise stewarding personnel, including dishwashers, cleaners, and utility workers, across all shifts.
- Ensure the kitchen and related back-of-house areas are cleaned and sanitized following hygiene guidelines.
- Oversee cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and storage spaces.
- Maintain proper functioning and servicing of dishwashing machines and other sanitation equipment.
- Participate in staff training on hygiene standards, safety protocols, and proper chemical handling.
- Manage inventories of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and stewarding tools.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, banquet, and food and beverage teams to fulfill service expectations.
- Support the implementation and supervision of waste management processes.
Experience Requirement
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years experience in stewarding or kitchen support roles, including at least 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience.
