Role Overview
The Front Office Agent is the primary representative at the front desk, managing guest check-ins and check-outs while ensuring a seamless and pleasant guest experience. This role involves assisting with inquiries, managing reservations, and providing information about the hotel and local attractions. Delivering professional, efficient, and warm service during the guests' stay is a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate and interact with guests using excellent interpersonal skills.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organization in front desk operations.
- Operate hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic computer applications proficiently.
- Maintain accuracy when processing guest information and payment details.
- Focus strongly on customer service, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs swiftly.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate a positive attitude dedicated to superior guest satisfaction and service standards.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and confidently engage with guests.
- Possess high emotional intelligence and genuine empathy towards guests.
- Pay careful attention to details, including guest preferences and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain a calm, composed, and solution-focused demeanor.
- Have awareness of hotel facilities, services, and local points of interest.
- Bring 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar hotel front office role.
- Hold a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
