About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Category Manager to contribute to the growth of "tMart," our innovative Grocery Store cloud concept that promises delivery of groceries within 30 minutes at hypermarket prices. This pioneering service has swiftly expanded across multiple countries including Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Iraq.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Bring over 5 years of progressive experience managing various product categories, preferably gained from large FMCG retailers with an international exposure.
• Demonstrate the ability to build and lead teams as well as handle cross-functional projects at scale.
• Exhibit a detail-oriented and methodical approach, with strong prioritization skills, focusing on delivering effective solutions rather than creating obstacles.
• Show a hands-on attitude by stepping in to assist in warehouse operations or customer service when required, regardless of role seniority.
• Engage confidently with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholders' expectations efficiently.
• Possess a strong drive for continuous learning, thriving in ambiguous environments, and being proficient with various tools.
• Display excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Have great interpersonal and intercultural skills to motivate and align teams and stakeholders behind common objectives.
• Language proficiency required: fluent English is mandatory and Arabic is an added advantage.
