Role Overview

Step into a pivotal role within one of Canada's most respected Asset Protection teams. As an Asset Protection Representative, you'll safeguard people, property, and assets by actively preventing theft, fraud, and policy breaches in busy grocery and pharmacy environments. This frontline security position requires vigilance, professionalism, and swift decision-making to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter theft, fraud, and violations.
• Confidently and lawfully detain offenders while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.
• Conduct thorough internal and external investigations, collaborating with law enforcement when needed.
• Analyze loss trends with store management and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and provincial regulations.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting with a flexible schedule.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Criminal Code of Canada and Trespass to Property Act.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, surveillance technology, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Approachable, confident, respectful demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in grocery, pharmacy, or high-volume retail settings is advantageous.
