Assembly Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, responsible for assembling control panels and electrical equipment by interpreting technical blueprints and schematics on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to identify required materials for assembly tasks.
• Determine and mark the locations for electrical components such as brackets, cables, switches, and wiring on control panels and electrical devices as per engineering plans.
• Perform drilling and tapping of holes according to quality control standards to accommodate electrical apparatus.
• Fabricate electrical components carefully using precision tools including calipers, cutters, drills, and saws, adhering to specified standards.
• Mount fabricated components onto control panels and equipment, ensuring alignment with specifications and quality guidelines.
• Conduct functional testing of assembled control panels and equipment to verify operational integrity.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational faults in control panels and equipment when discrepancies from schematics are detected.
• Implement adjustments to electronic parts and re-test to confirm resolution of issues.
