Assembly Fitter

Role Overview

The Assembly Fitter will be responsible for manufacturing equipment used in steel cold rolling mills and similar processing lines, ensuring high standards of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings effectively and understand manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrate familiarity with mechanical parts and components involved in assembly.
• Plan and organize the assembly sequence to optimize workflow.
• Utilize mechanical tools, tackles, and precision measuring instruments competently.
• Identify mechanical issues and apply problem-solving skills to resolve them.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI certification as a fitter with 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical machine assembly within the engineering sector.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, piping, and welding techniques.
• Ability to make sound decisions during assembly processes.

• Insufficient understanding of engineering drawings and industrial engineering practices.
• Lack of familiarity with assembly procedures, mechanical parts, tools, tackles, and measuring instruments.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary of ₹22,000.
