Account Executive (Accounting)

Role Overview

The position requires a meticulous Account Executive to oversee daily accounting tasks, financial transactions, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role is focused on accurate bookkeeping and timely financial reporting.

Core Duties

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain proper bookkeeping records.
• Record purchase, sales, and expense transactions using accounting software.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions diligently.
• Generate invoices, follow up on payments, and conduct vendor reconciliations.
• Execute bank reconciliation statements to verify financial accuracy.
• Support GST filing, adhere to TDS regulations, and maintain statutory documentation.
• Keep financial ledgers and supporting documents updated and organized.
• Liaise with auditors during internal and statutory audit procedures.
• Compile basic financial statements and management information system (MIS) reports.
• Ensure adherence to the company's financial policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a B.Com, M.Com or an equivalent degree in Commerce or Finance.
• At least two years of accounting experience, ideally within the automobile or trading sectors.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Hands-on expertise with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Competent in the use of Tally or ERP software alongside proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical mindset with excellent reconciliation capabilities.
• High attention to detail ensuring precise and accurate outputs.
