Role Overview
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work assembling electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components into finished products. The Assembler will be based at the production floor in Erskine Park, working under the Production Manager to create cutting-edge cash payment technologies, payment products, and slot machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and product components accurately.
- Adhere to prescribed standards and instructions for wiring installations and component fittings during assembly.
- Operate hand and power tools with proficiency.
- Conduct operational tests on machinery using established checklists.
- Identify assembly errors and communicate for corrective actions, including troubleshooting when necessary.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing or a related field.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Commitment to follow Workplace Health and Safety standards and guidelines.
