Role Summary

This hands-on assembler position, based in Dayton, OH, is integral to the ARFC Operations team. The role involves building, calibrating, and troubleshooting sophisticated mechanical and electronic subsystems or full units ensuring both efficiency and superior product quality that impact global industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic subassemblies or complete units guided by blueprints, manuals, and precision hand tools.
  • Calibrate and adjust components accurately to meet stringent manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, conduct final testing, and troubleshoot any substandard units prior to shipment.
  • Maintain production tracking by scanning work orders, logging counts, and updating digital manufacturing systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least one year of experience in product assembly and manufacturing environments.
  • Completion of primary education or equivalent practical knowledge.
  • Able to interpret detailed verbal instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly sketches.
  • Capable of safely utilizing basic hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing software and barcode scanning for production tracking.
  • Experience in product inspection, packaging, and troubleshooting units.

Logistics

The role is fully on-site in Dayton, Ohio with no travel requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage range: $17.21 - $21.54.
  • No eligibility for bonuses or commissions.
