Job Overview

The Assembler I role involves constructing component parts or assembling final products in line with customer specifications while ensuring all necessary components and supplies are properly managed and secured.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the work area before starting tasks.
  • Assemble parts accurately following detailed instructions and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools required to complete assembly operations.
  • Organize and stack finished items according to company protocols; may also be responsible for labeling, covering, and bundling completed products.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace and verify that equipment is safe for use.
  • Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues encountered.
  • Keep production records as necessary.
  • Inspect materials and finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Adhere to company safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
  • Take part in safety initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and team meetings.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Preferably six months of experience in manufacturing or assembly work; however, no prior experience is required.
  • Basic math skills are preferred.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
