Role Overview

This role, titled Manufacturing Productivity Consultant (Technical Application Engineer – Industrial Solutions), is based in Nashik, Maharashtra. The consultant will focus on understanding machining difficulties faced by customers and suggest practical engineering solutions to elevate manufacturing performance. Unlike traditional sales functions, this position demands close collaboration with production and maintenance teams, plant heads, and business owners to deliver technical support and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visits to CNC machine shops, tool rooms, MSMEs, and manufacturing plants primarily around Nashik and nearby industrial areas.
• Analyze customer machining workflows, identify production constraints, and assess productivity needs.
• Propose appropriate cutting tools, CNC tooling systems, bandsaw blades, tapping machines, resharpening tools, tool-room equipment, and metalworking fluid solutions.
• Facilitate live demonstrations and application trials at client sites to display benefits.
• Communicate quantifiable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost savings effectively to clients.
• Prepare quotes and technical solution proposals collaboratively with technical and commercial divisions.
• Establish and nurture enduring relationships with production managers, maintenance personnel, and owners.
• Maintain detailed records of customer visits, quotations, and follow-ups using the company CRM system.
• Represent MechMatrix at relevant industrial exhibitions, technical workshops, and client engagements.
• Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies, machining applications, and industry products.

Candidate Profile

• Educational qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
• Welcomes freshers demonstrating eagerness to learn and grow.
• Experience range: 0–20 years in industrial products, machine tools, cutting tools, or manufacturing industry roles preferred.
• Must be willing to travel frequently for client visits within the assigned regions.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence is advantageous.
