Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Engineer who bridges product engineering and applied AI. This role involves not just fine-tuning models but crafting and deploying comprehensive full-stack systems where AI agents perform meaningful tasks. Responsibilities span the entire feature lifecycle from defining agent workflows and LLM prompting strategies to backend API and frontend interface development. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and deploy AI agents automating intricate multi-step processes leveraging LLMs such as Claude, GPT-4, and Gemini alongside tool-use frameworks
• Design and execute full-stack features including Node.js/Python backends, REST/GraphQL APIs, and React/Next.js frontends from conception to production
• Build and oversee MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and AI agent integrations with third-party platforms like Slack, Gmail, CRMs, and databases
• Design robust prompt pipelines featuring structured outputs, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and memory mechanisms
• Measure and refine agent behavior by assessing output quality, reducing hallucinations, optimizing token consumption, and enhancing latency
• Incorporate AI functionalities into existing products, including chat interfaces, dashboards, and automation triggers
• Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into agentic workflows
• Manage DevOps tasks for your services including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP), monitoring, and alerting

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in full-stack or backend-focused roles
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, capable across the full development stack
• Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or similar providers
• Demonstrated history of building or shipping at least one AI agent or automation system in a production environment
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and asynchronous system design
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization tools like Docker
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities to effectively troubleshoot complex agent chains end-to-end
