Senior Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Senior Full-Stack Developer position within the Software Applications Engineering division. This role focuses on driving engineering and analytics in the semiconductor product domain by creating scalable big-data analytic applications. These applications support workflows in product, manufacturing, quality, and reliability engineering. The candidate must bring deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for utilizing AI tools to enhance engineering productivity and troubleshooting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop comprehensive full-stack systems tailored for large-scale data and analytics applications, supporting semiconductor product and operations teams.
• Build robust backend services, including microservices and APIs, facilitating secure and scalable processing of engineering and manufacturing datasets.
• Create user-friendly front-end interfaces for data visualization, dashboards tracking yield and quality, and analytic workflows.
• Devise and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases, managing device, product, and test data.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as product engineering, test engineering, and IT.
• Leverage AI and large language model (LLM) tools to accelerate coding, documentation, data analysis, and engineering workflow summarization.
• Communicate design choices, trade-offs, and architecture recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• (Optional) Assist in designing agentic AI systems, including autonomous data processing agents, workflow agents, or LLM integration tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong backend development skills using one or more of these languages: Node.js, Python.
• Proficient with modern front-end frameworks, notably React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of big-data system architectures, distributed computing, and data pipeline design.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL, as well as NoSQL systems including MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
• Practical knowledge of deploying systems on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication capabilities, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven use of AI tools to boost software engineering productivity, enhance analytics speed, or automate workflows.
• Preferred: Familiarity with agentic AI or LLM-integrated applications, semiconductor engineering data types (yield, parametric, test logs, reliability), and event-driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong skills in system design, architecture, and thorough documentation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus at least 2 years of software applications engineering or development experience; or
• Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant software engineering experience; or
• PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Additionally, candidates must possess at least 1 year of combined academic and/or professional experience programming in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Also required is 1 year of experience (academic and/or professional) with debugging methodologies.
