Architectural-Engineering (AE) Draftsman

About the Position

HIRE Consultancy is collaborating with a Dubai-based building development company to recruit an Architectural-Engineering Draftsman for their design team. This role entails producing precise architectural and engineering drawings and technical specifications for various building projects. You will work closely with the BIM Coordinator, Project Manager, and design leads to translate design concepts into well-coordinated construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update architectural and engineering drawings, detailed elements, and schedules.
• Transform design sketches and annotations into exact CAD/BIM drawings.
• Coordinate drawings across different disciplines to identify and address fundamental clashes before final issuance.
• Maintain comprehensive drawing registers, track revisions, and manage issue sheets.
• Review drawings for precision, proper scale, and adherence to drafting standards.
• Assist in issuing drawings, handling transmittals, and preparing as-built documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
• Possession of a diploma or degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related technical field.
• Two to four years of professional experience as a draftsman working on architectural, engineering, or interior fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software; familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 is a plus.
• Strong capabilities in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with robust organizational skills.
