Job Overview

The role involves developing, coordinating, and supporting architectural designs aligned with project specifications, client expectations, regulatory codes, and industry practices. The Architect will prepare architectural concepts, detailed drawings, technical documentation, and design solutions while collaborating with internal teams, consultants, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and viable design options based on client and project needs.
• Produce comprehensive architectural drawings including details, elevations, and sections to advance design development.
• Create, review, and maintain architectural specifications, reports, and project documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Engage with clients to address queries, provide expert advice, and recommend technical solutions.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, engineering, and fabrication disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
• Examine architectural drawings and technical documents for compliance and precision according to approved designs.
• Identify potential design challenges and implement cost-effective, practical solutions grounded in technical soundness.
• Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress, confirm site conditions, and address architectural concerns.
• Incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and approved changes into project documentation effectively.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software to develop and refine drawings and 3D models.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, designers, project managers, and other departments to ensure project success.
• Ensure architectural designs adhere to building codes, relevant authority mandates, project requirements, and industry standards.
• Adhere to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in all work activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Hands-on experience with architectural drawings, design development phases, technical documentation, and construction detailing.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with additional architectural/BIM software advantageous.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting well with clients, consultants, and teams.
• Preferably knowledgeable about UAE building regulations, authority standards, construction methods, and industry norms.

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based with routine coordination across project, engineering, production, and estimation teams.
• Site visits and project-related travel required as per project demands.
• Workload may involve meeting critical deadlines and managing several projects simultaneously.
• Occasional extended work hours necessary to fulfill project delivery timelines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to conduct site inspections and participate in construction environment activities.
• Capability to work across office and site settings complying with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Additional Details

Salary Range: AED 5000 to 7000 monthly
